Higher level of producer responsibility must be enforced by respective governments.While we encourage entrepreneurship,we must also curb desire for making profits at the cost of the society and global community and environment at large.In India the government and the manufacturers are hand in glove in making it nobodys responsibility to collect the used plastics.The industry simply refuses to do anything concrete and the government(politicians/bureaucracy) conveniently close their eyes. Hope international pressure is built to make the resin manufacturers responsible for the pollution mess.
