Kakaka Here Henua Ecologica Maori Rapa Nui is a group of people that work in raising awareness about maintaining our natural ecosystems free of garbagge and contamination. The main activities carried out by this organization are, beach cleaning programmes, education programmes with the local children. Today, the founder of the organization, Mrs. Piru Hucke Atan is the manager of the recycling plant, which is managed by the municipality. Today, Piru is in charge of auditing the local businesses to ensure that they carry out well the recycling tasks of different materials.
